After breakfast in Guwahati, leave for Shillong (approx. 98 km / 3 hrs).
Continue to Cherrapunji from Shillong (approx 60 km / 2 hrs). During the journey, and once you reach the Cherrapunji point, visit: Mawkdok Dympep Valley (Japanese Point): A fine valley viewpoint on your way to Cherrapunji.
Thangkharang Park: A nice view over the plains of Bangladesh, with valley roads seen twisting below.
Kynrem Falls: Splendid waterfall, three tiers, near Cherrapunji, with a fall from approximately 305m.
Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls): A very fine multi-stream waterfall near Cherrapunji.
Mawsmai Cave: Natural limestone cave formation with stalactites and stalagmites, near Cherrapunji.
